Cryptography Engineering Intern

We are currently seeking talented and motivated individuals to join us for our upcoming internship. As an intern, you will have the chance to contribute to various projects that are critical to the development and success of our platform. The ideal candidate should have a foundational knowledge of cryptography and its applications in modern digital systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with our engineering team to design, implement, and evaluate cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
  2. Analyze and enhance the security of our existing systems using cryptographic techniques.
  3. Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose cryptographic solutions to mitigate them.
  4. Research and develop innovative cryptographic solutions for enhancing the security, transparency, and efficiency of our platform.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cryptography, Web3, blockchain protocols, and decentralized technologies.
  6. Contribute to the integration of cryptographic techniques into our Web3, blockchain, and other relevant projects.
  7. Share knowledge on the latest cryptographic threats and trends with the team to ensure proactive measures are in place.

Projects:

  1. Web3, Blockchain & Cryptography Technology: Explore technology integration and develop cryptographic solutions that enhance security, transparency, and efficiency.
  2. FinTech & Crypto: Work on cryptographic solutions in a FinTech and Crypto environment that operates within regulatory and legal frameworks.
  3. Security & Trustless Technology: Dive deep into building secure cryptographic tech solutions focusing on trustless systems.

As an intern at Heirified, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced start-up environment led by seasoned industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with industry partners like Google, Wolfram, Microsoft, OpenAI, Y Combinator, and more.
  • Be a part of the groundbreaking development in the realm of cryptographic solutions in a global trust & estate planning platform.
  • Gain exposure to industries like FinTech, RegTech, LegalTech, AI, Web3, and Blockchain.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Fundamental knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and applications.
  2. Familiarity with Web3 and Blockchain technologies, including cryptographic primitives used in them.
  3. Understanding of cybersecurity practices and how cryptography plays a role.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both in-person and remotely.
  5. Full English working proficiency.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and conduct effective research.

Qualifications:

  1. Development or research experience with a focus on cryptography.
  2. Exposure to Web3, Blockchain, and related cryptographic techniques.
  3. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on cryptography. (School projects & side projects will be considered).
