Winter Break Internships (Psych/Business/Marketing/Chaplaincy/Human Resources/Brain Health)
About the Position
The Goodwin Living Winter Break Internship program gives college students the opportunity to explore the field of senior living and engage in many of the department that are essential to our organization. Interns can choose between six departments:
Brain Health
Marketing/Communications
Human Resources
Life Enrichment/Resident Activities
Chaplaincy/Interfaith
Administrative/Volunteer Recruitment
This program is a flexible winter break program that requires 12 days of commitment in a 4-6 week span between December 2023 - January 2024.
Interns will receive a stipend, a resident mentor, and 1-2 professional development workshops with our leadership team.
Job Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university or trade school
- Ability to relate to and work with team members and their department
- Creates a welcoming, friendly and adaptable environment for those they serve and work with
- Be interested to work with a diverse population of older adults
- Have a can-do mindset and be excited to learn about all we have to offer
- Proficient with email communications and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Be able to attend in-person, reliable transportation
